Hi

Can anyone advise on the above please.

I have a buyer for my koi and he has purchased bags - having sold one of my koi last year I am aware of how they are transported (bags and box) - this buyer only lived around 30 minutes away from me.

The new buyer lives around 2 hours away.

Will they be okay in the bags for this amount of time?

Thanks

What size koi it makes a difference?

If you have oxygen no problem.

If you do not have oxygen do you have a dealer nearby who will fill with oxygen for you?

Should you arrange that fill the bag with enough water to cover the koi ,fill with air from an airline seal and get to the dealer asap.

Should not find a nearby dealer able to assist I would not transport a koi without oxygen in current temperature the oxygen level is depleted.

Hi Tony

Thanks for your reply.

I was thinking that about the oxygen too to be honest. The 4 biggest ones are around 67cm.
I've been looking at online videos and they had oxygen in cans?

The buyer said he had ordered bags but never mentioned oxygen. Safe to say if he
can't transport them comfortably and safely then they'll be staying here!

Another solution would be is there a koi keeper near to you that has oxygen who could fill for you.

Not heard of oxygen in cans.
