Hi all I’m new to the hobby and in the middle of building my first pond it’s a 8000 litre s. I originally bought a easy pod to start with as the pond was going to be smaller, now I’ve extended it, so it’s 8000 litres. Due to the volume increase I know the easy pod will not run the pond. I’ve purchased a draco drum and I’ve been told they can be put in top of a nexus but I’m wondering would I be better off getting a 4 chamber filter with a vortex. The pond will be gravity fed with a bottom drain with 2 jets and a skimmer. Can anybody please guide me in the right direction. Many thanks

Welcome to the forum, would normally suggest that you attend as many club events with pond visits as you can to see various set ups. Due to the pandemic these are not happening so maybe best to make an appointment to visit a local dealer.
The dealers that sponsor our site are all very reputable (click the links at the bottom of the pages)amd should be able to guide you.
Vortex and multibays are a bit old fashioned and high maintenance.
If you haven't started build your pond deeper up to 5ft or bigger most pond owners wish they had done that.
Where are you?
STAY SAFE, STAY HOME,STAY WELL ,THANK YOU KEY WORKERS!!!!
