I’ve used Virkon to clean my multi bay empty bays when I’ve removed brushes to clean before rinsing to drain with fresh water. If you dose after each filter clean and it’s being recommended to use a lower dose in this situation what’s the reason for that? I presume that it is because although it kills bad bacteria perhaps it also kills some good bacteria?
