Geese flying north think they fly south for winter and back north for spring summer is that correct can’t remember which way round they do it today two flocks flying north

Most come in from Greenland/Iceland and Scandinavia and winter in Scotland & northern England so they would be flying South & South West.
You may be seeing birds flying from their roosting grounds to where they feed Dave.
