 About the Yorkshire Koi SocietyThe Yorkshire Koi Society is a completely independent Society, the way it has been since it was first founded in 1975. We are happy to say we are still flourishing in this our 35th year. Membership still includes those with a lifetime of experience in fish and Koi keeping, qualities both valued and appreciated by newer members who bring life and vigour to the Society.
Membership covers the whole of Yorkshire, here in England and way beyond. We have members from the area's of Whitby / York / Sheffield / Goole / Leeds / Castleford / Bradford / Wetherby / Barnsley / Doncaster / Huddersfield / Hull / Rotherham / Wakefield / Cannock / Manchester / Sutton Coldfield / Scunthorpe / Darwin / Newcastle / Collingham, not forgetting our friends in the Koi Society's of Australia.
Our Aims :
To invite new members to join our group, to arrange meetings and share knowledge through our monthly news letter which is sent by post to members.
This news letter is also available to YKS members via the YKS web site "members only section"
To invite other like minded Koi clubs to exchange pond visits with the Yorkshire Koi Society: -
To invite guest speakers to our meetings, note all winter meetings are held at Collingham Village Memorial Hall

Bi-Monthly News Letter
Our Bi-Monthly News Letter is published in A4 format and contains all club information regarding forthcoming events plus details to a host of approved Koi and koi product related dealers.

While adverts are usually Koi related, adverts are also accepted from non Koi sources, our members do after all buy other products.

Full membership = £20.00 per year per household. This entitles you to join in all our activities ie coach trips, visits to other clubs ponds & dealers, barbecues etc. Plus entry to all our winter meetings @ Collingham where all the koi related presentations take place & the library is available for those who want to learn more. Not forgetting our Bi-monthly news letter delivered free to your doorstep.
